Our website now has chibi painter!

Here is a short how-to on posting using chibi-painter:

First, click the chibi painter link in the top left corner of the site, right next to the forum topic (it also appears on the rest of the site, as of this tutorial).

Paint your masterpiece and hit 'File>Send Oekaki'

A new tab will open next to your chibipaint window with a list of images. Yours will generally be among the ones towards the top, recognisable by the thumbnail.

Hit the 'Show' button next to your image. This will open a dropdown window of other options.

At 'Link URL' click 'File URL' and copy the contained address.

Open up a new post and click 'Insert image' (the little icon of the picture of the tree).

Paste your copied file url into 'Image URL' field, and fill out the other fields as required.

Write whatever you like in your post (or not) and post as normal.

Grab a tablet and kickstart your art!

Chibipainter is an oekaki paint program.

Basically it allows tablet owners (or ppl who are leet at mouse drawing) to draw straight into image boards and forums. In our case, it allows you to draw, and upload that drawing into our media library, and then post it here, or anywhere else, though I will ask people to link to this forum rather then direct image linking, as we're still a small community in need of promotion.
