So, the question is, if you finish a novel-length story, and aren't looking to get it published… what exactly do you DO with it?

I understand it's a bit of an odd question, but it's one that's been bugging me for a while. I am a writer, it's what I do, so I find myself sitting on like 4 books (well more like 2 books and 2 novelettes) with no intention of getting them published and no real idea what else to do with them.

I mean, should one simply throw them online to be torn apart by trolls? (though I must admit, I would enjoy constructive criticism on the 2 books)

If I had more time maybe I'd polish them up more, maybe convert them into a comic or something, but due to a 6 day work/uni schedule I can't really do that.

It almost seems blasphemous to the creative process to simply let them sit on my computer, gathering dust, forgotten monuments to past inspirations. But what else is to be done? This is the quandry I present to the creative minds of the Devilberry community.
